Rent Collection & Delinquency Management
CPS utilizes a centralized rent collection model out of our corporate office in order to provide our clients real-time payment posting, reconciliation and a single point of contact for all rent collection data. Our tenants receive monthly statements with a tear off coupon for sending payments by check.
Unfortunately all tenants do not pay their rent, which is why CPS has a corporate delinquency and evictions department. Our FDCPA trained, internal associates work with our local property managers to ensure all statutorily required notices are properly served and a comprehensive eviction file is created. We then coordinate with an approved network of attorneys versed in landlord/tenant evictions to see the property through to vacancy.
